Hi Doug,

With the great MISSION:IMPOSSIBLE set coming, I'm sure people (including myself) would love to have an update on where Intrada stands on
the HAWAII FIVE-O project at this time, due to CBS and the Stevens estate hashing out rights and such.

Please let us know and thanks so much in advance...

I noticed someone mention that Jon Burlingame made note that lawsuits such as the one concerning the series theme usually takes a long time to finish. Considering that, and the internal issues involving the new series, I wouldn't count on this album happening any time soon.

My interest in '70s and '80s TV series music is quite varied, so I'm ready for whatever else Intrada has in store on this front. The Universal vaults beckon.

Thanks, Doug! When you mentioned that huge Miniseries score, right away I thought of WHEELS by Mort Stevens...that is my DREAM score!

Anyway, whatever you have coming up, I'm sure it will be great with that Intrada magical touch....looking forward to it and thanks again!...

I certainly know you guys have your own favorites. A lot of them are my favorites as well. I also have many I've yet to discover. For example, I'm a rabid fan of the Hawaii Five-O scores but admit I don't know Wheels very well. But one day I shall. I hope to see virtually all of the classic 1960's - 1990's series and mini-series music become available but it takes time. A lot of time. The High Chaparral, The Big Valley, The Rookies, Owen Marshall: Counselor At Law, Rod Serling's Night Gallery, Centennial, and so on. There's literally just an endless amount of incredible music still to unlock from the vaults of all of the studios, and that's just with regards to TV. With movies we've still got an endless stream of Max Steiner, Victor Young, Frank Skinner, Hans Salter, David Buttolph, Andre Previn, Maurice Jarre, Paul Sawtell, Elmer Bernstein, James Horner, Paul Smith and whatnot.

Take that, all ye windbags claiming there's nothing left to release.

It is one of Mort's best, as well as an Emmy nominated Miniseries score...

Now that we are in to the new year, I sure hope that there has been some movement in getting the FIVE-0 scores released.
