Does anyone know whether Stylotone plans to make full-length albums for these two scores? Price and all-inclusive packaging notwithstanding, the label did a very good job with Twisted Nerve.

I recall that Marnie was supposed to be coming from Stylotone but then vanished into the ether. There was some discussion on FSM that sales on previous titles weren't so great, so perhaps that put the kibosh on it?

That would be a shame. No surprise with the allegedly poor sales, as not many people are willing to spend that kind of money even for scores they love most.

These original recordings happen to be the final albums that I desire from the two composers.

And now the Psycho film recording joins Marnie and Demon in being stuck with only a 7" single. The next time my father tells me that I don't know what life was like in the '60s, I'll tell him that I have some idea.

The Marnie situation is a bit bewildering now. Have they decided not to plough ahead with a release, and if so, do they retain the rights to release it for a certain period of time before those rights revert back to where they came from? So the other labels have to wait for that to expire before they get a shot at it?

I saw somewhere that there's a manufacturing issue with the vinyl, which is compounded by the long wait times for the format. It is BS that these albums are only sold as a complete package. Anyone who says that it's the only way to make a return is clearly being disingenuous and would never make it as a used car salesman.
