One of the very few "big" film series' left to be released as complete albums, rank the Airport scores in the order you would like to see them appear, starting with the one you are most interested in.

Airport '77 (John Cacavas)
Airport '79 (Lalo Schifrin)
Airport (Alfred Newman)
Airport 1975 (John Cacavas)

For me:
Airport '77;
Airport '79 - The Concorde;
Airport 1975;
Airport.

I'm very much interested in having them all released.
A box set in film order would be nice though, just saying !

Airport (Alfred Newman)
Airport 1975 (John Cacavas)
Airport '77 (John Cacavas)
Airport '79 (Lalo Schifrin)

But if I really had to choose & it came down to a single release only then it might have to be

Airport '77 (John Cacavas)

Let's hope Intrada puts them all out at some point so that we all win. :wink:

The original by Alfred Newman would have to be first. It's the last of an era in film and film music, big, glossy 1950s style spectacle. Great film.

Had to rewatch the trailer on YouTube. It's true... AIRPORT HAS NO EQUAL!

Awhile back I flew across country aboard a brand new jet. Each seat had an individual monitor with a selection of new and old films. I was disappointed not one of the Airport films was offered.

So I watched Whatever Happened To Baby Jane instead. :lol:

I'd rank them as follows:

Airport '77 (John Cacavas)
Airport 1975 (John Cacavas)
Airport (Alfred Newman)
Airport '79 (Lalo Schifrin)

And poster art. Gotta have the poster art on each one. 8)
