Any news about the next Varese Club cds?

Usually the club cds from Varese are announced with intervals of 3 to 4 months, and knowing that their lasted club releases where announce in last may,... (thats 4 months ago) well it's about time to expect some happy news soon again.

Any body heard something yet?

I hope they will do some more music from Christopher Young, they have already done so much Bill Conti, Georges Delerue & David Newman.

There are quite a few VarÃ¨se LPs that need to be reissued on CD. Kabiljo's Sky Bandits was a great release this summer. For the next batch of Club releases I'm hoping for Lee Holdridge's Transylvania 6-5000 and Peter Bernstein's The Ewok Adventure/Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, and I would also buy Manfredini's Swamp Thing and Donaggio's Tourist Trap.

PS: And how about a CD release of Alan Parker's Jaws 3-D (LP is on MCA Records)?

Boys from Brazil was not part of the original club series.

It was part of the Masters of Film Music Series. It gets a little tricky here because Those Secrets whose both, but as far as I know there has been no prohibition on producing new versions of these scores as long as a sudio deal can be worked out.

I would mind if the next lp-reissue would be either Conti's The Formula or Silvestri's Cat's Eye.

At the Bernard Herrmann concert, Townson reportedly promised a Goldsmith title to fans for the varese club this year, so it's almost certain that the next club batch will include a goldsmith score but he never said anything about Boys From Brazil. This is just fan talk that does not have to be true.

I think you have a better chance of seeing THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL from Intrada because Capricorn One ,Saturn 3 and Inchon were all IFC releases as with Boys.
