There's never been a future cop like Jack Deth, who transported himself from the post-apocalyptic LA of 2247 to a post-punk City of Angels, circa 1985, to singe "Trancers." 31 years later, Charles Band's quirky sci-fi film remains a cult favorite, powered by the wisecracking chemistry of stars Tim Thomerson and Helen Hunt that in turn created one of Full Moon's most popular franchises.
Creature Features salutes this franchise, and Intrada's new release of the scores to TRANCERS 1-3 with a cast and crew reunion and audience Q&A featuring actors Tim Thomerson ("Zone Troopers") and Andrew Robinson ("Hellraiser"), music supervisor and composer Richard Band ("Re-Animator"), screenwriter Danny Bilson ("The Rocketeer") and "Trancers III" director C. Courtney Joyner ("The Lurking Fear"), moderated by "Trancers 1-3" album liner note writer Daniel Schweiger.
This "Trancers" event will begin at 2 PM on Saturday, May 21 at Creature Features in Burbank. Admission is free, though seating is first come, first served. Merchandise will also be able available to purchase from the cast and crew for a separate charge.
