Well, we're talking free enterprise so things like this happen. Nothing can be done about it, I suppose. And probably nothing should be. None of us like seeing the mark-up happen so quickly, of course. When a dealer offers that rare early CD to Michael Hoenig's THE BLOB you kind of feel like - well, at least it's really rare and it's been off the market for years and years so whatever. But INCHON's only a few days old! So it just looks bad. Obviously, if we can spotlight the customer we'll limit his or her future orders, at least if they come through here. But that's hard to do in the internet world. Such is the life of us soundtrack collectors today. It's happening in DVDs, too. I saw this happen with MUNICH, now it's happening with UNITED 93. I can't blame the labels for working out marketing strategies that sell this stuff, though. There's an awful lot to choose from and our entertainment dollars only stretch so far. Still, this eBay thing doesn't look good in the short run. --Doug |

Subject to rights and cost considerations, just re-press the Inchon cd again in larger numbers. Stop the opportunists in their tracks! and at the same time give others a chance to acquire this CD. No amount of whining is going to change whatever is happening on ebay as long as free trade thrives. It is trite that the only way to overcome the acute shortage is by eliminating it with larger stocks. Just my 2 bits. |

No downloadable MP3s?? GREAT I don't look forward to when any limited edition score CD is DOWNLOAD only. It may be a revolutionary and convenient way of getting music, but I prefer the complete package from the people who took the time and care to assemble it all for the fans/collectors. |
