So glad people are finally getting to enjoy this! You're right about the lack of tracking, but there is one exception in JAWS 2: the beginning of "Fire On Board" is tracked over the start of "Sinking The Catamaran." In the original JAWS, part of the "Wild Shark Theme" that ends Disc 1 was tracked over a section of "The Pier Incident."

You're right, I forgot about these.

In the case of Jaws 2 there's also the case of the extended TV version that had to track music for the scene of divers finding the camera (a section of the main title) and the underwater footage of the hellicopter attack (the water skier).

I didn't know about the scene with the camera being found. I just found it on YouTube with a camera phone aimed at a TV airing in Brazil (Portuguese dubbed). It actually uses the part of the Main Title that was cut from both the original album and the opening scene of the movie. Has anyone seen this on an English language airing?

I posted that Brazilian version. It's intringuing but the version released on VHS in Brazil by CIC in the 80s was the extended TV cut dubbed in Portuguese (while 99.99% of other movies released on VHS were on original english with subtitles). That was the only version of Jaws 2 I watched as it was the version that was shown on tv from time to time and the version released on VHS. I was surprised to not finding some of the scenes when I finally watched the theatrical cut.

Interesting! All the other scenes were included in the ABC network airing in the States and some subsequent syndicated broadcasts, but never that scene!
