Great story about the professor. Just about all of us probably know people in classical circles who arrogantly dismiss the art of film scoring outright. It's pathetic, really. I love the montage. That scene from High Noon perfectly demonstrates why Tiomkin is in my top three of favorite "Golden Age" composers. |
