I never went to the parks as a child but grew up on the Disney movies of the 70s/80s. Started taking my kids to Orlando yearly over the past 8 years. I absolutely adore the park music. Day 1 purchase for me. So excited about this release!

I hope they include a stereo version of The Timekeeper theme:

Fantastic Flight is now open!
The attraction looks beautiful, the design of the queue is so incredibly well done. Judging by ridethroughs on YouTube, the only new music Bruce really wrote was for the pre-show/finale, still incorporating Jerry Goldsmith’s amazing theme. There could be more though.

This Broughton set would be a prime opportunity to include Goldsmith's two unreleased cues for Soarin' Over California, as a bonus. For those who didn't know, in addition to the ride score proper, he also composed and recorded a "pre-flight" cue and an exit cue, which I think both still remain unreleased on CD. I may be wrong about the pre-flight cue, since Disney added it to this official "Disney Park Audio" YouTube post of the music (it's the first minute and a half):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRQsZxDnMfQ

On the Disney Parks CD I have with Soarin', it's less than 5 minutes long because it only includes the ride score. But maybe, going by that YouTube post, the track has been expanded to over 6 minutes on current Park CD releases? (Can anyone confirm, one way or the other?) In any case, Jerry's exit cue is still unreleased. Since Bruce Broughton did his own Soarin' variations this would be a neat Goldsmith bonus to include, on an otherwise all-Broughton set. I'd be very surprised if Bruce minded...

It was not Bellis, but Mark Mckenzie. The new Soarin preshow music by Broughton is fantastic!

Also, that is not an official Disney YouTube channel. Only the original attraction score was ever released, and not the load/unload music.

Question for anyone who can answer,

Has Disney ever looked into doing more park music via streaming? With them putting out Galaxy’s Edge and Pandora (and some of the older albums) through platforms like Apple Music and Spotify I started wondering if there may be some interest or incentive in doing more releases along these lines. Particularly for future park albums or individual attractions.
SeaWorld seems to have a huge jump on this, as they have put out a number of albums pertaining to shows/attractions/park music.

Anyways, just visited Disneyland Paris this past week which had me going back to Steve Bramson’s Space Mountain score. Definitely a must listen for fans of James Horner’s older style, such a shame the full score hasn’t seen a release.
