Hope the licensor has been tracked down and this unreleased 80s gem by Horner gets its long overdue release. Any possibility of an update, Roger? *holds thumbs*

I guess we'll have to wait and see. The people at Intrada have no doubt been enjoying this fun score.

I wish, but we only had one cue to test out the elements. The licensor is 100% unresponsive. I can't seem to get any traction. Very frustrating -- it reminds me of trying to get that Slipstream license. But I'll figure it out eventually.

Hey Roger, many thanks for the update! I continue to hope that Volunteers will have its day sometime in the future. This was one of the Horner scores where I used to watch the movie over and over just to hear the music. And that bridge building cue, brilliant stuff!

And the lengthy bridge destruction cue, repeated danger motif and all. What really brings it all together is an amazing performance by the orchestra.

Ugh...still trying. Licensor just doesn't seem to be interested.

Would it change something if we all send them mail to beg them for letting this release happen ? :)

That's too bad, especially since Mr Horner is no longer with us. It would be a lovely tribute to his mastery to have an early gem like this released at last. Thanks for trying Roger.

Roger, pretty much confirmed this one isn't going to happen via the "Any Horner in 2017" thread, which is a real shame as Intrada would do it if they could. Hopefully one day the licensor will have a change of heart. :(

Very frustrating. Would have paired Volunteers and Between Friends.

I never heard the latter score. What is it like?

Roger, how about an email campaign from your loyal patrons to the rights holder alá Roughing It (remember that, didn't it work, or at least help? I remember I called from my office, all those years ago).
