I got the 2 disc "Terms of Endearment" set in September (which I LOOOVE), however I got an unprovoked package in the mail last week which was a replacement disc 1. A brief 1 page letter indicated that there was a mastering problem with the original pressing and this disc replaces that. It didn't explain what the mastering problem was, and I thought the disc 1 sounded fine. Before I upload the new disc and replace the old one I thought I would check to see if anyone knows what this is about. I couldn't find any news updates or edits from Quartet Records or FSM or anywhere.
Thoughts? Do I just throw away the old disc which worked fine? It seems kind of wasteful.
