I just noticed that Full Moon recently released the full Tourist Trap album on CD. Does anyone here happen to know if this was sourced from the album tapes, as opposed to a vinyl transfer? |

I just listened to this release. It is definitely not a vinyl transfer, but the sound is a bit rough and the track titles are wrong in parts since they did not correct for the new track arrangement. It seems to have come from a tape copy. Not bad overall and I'm sure it is the best of what's available. We got lucky enough with Intrada's find of the original album tapes for Crawlspace. |

I also picked it up, and I agree with your overall assessment regarding the sound quality. At least the score is finally back out there again. |
