Intrada hasn't had a western score to offer us since February,2013; that being CAHILL,U.S. MARSHAL. Have they called it quits on this genre? I hope not. There is plenty still to be found in the Warner Bros. and Universal vaults. |

There is so much for them to release in every genre that I would in no way see it as an indicator that they've called it quits on Westerns altogether. That would be silly, especially when producers have repeatedly said that all of the comedy scores being released usually sell the worst of all genres. Roger did mention that scores like Shenandoah will be looked into once the fan favorites among today's audience will be depleted. I like to think that bodes well for other jewels like Rooster Cogburn, Death of a Gunfighter, Ulzana's Raid, Sister Sara (from original tapes), Tell Them Willie Boy is Here, etc. Having tastes among the minority generally requires extra patience, unfortunately. Having tastes among both the minority and majority is great, however! ![]() |

If you crave for good western score, there is the excellent and recently released A Million Ways to Die in the West by Joel McNeely ! Great old school western if you like Dimitri Tiomkin and Elmer Bernstein... |

Excellent news, I do love a good western score. My most played Intrada fifties release is, L. Newman's The Last Wagon, & really looking forward to the Rio Conchos remaster. Fifties, sixties, seventies, & I'm there. |

If it's RIO BRAVO that would be great. And thank you,Doug, for letting us know that a holy grail of mine,CENTENNIAL,is on Intrada's radar. |
