Doug's post on Twilight's Blu-Ray of Ford's TWO RODE TOGETHER, prompts me to ask--is the isolated track a "music only" track or "music and effects?" If "music only' I would suspect it would only be in mono. If you could clarifiy this, Doug, I might be prompted to take the plunge on a purchase as I have always loved Duning's main title for this film.
The film may be imperfect but I've always been impressed with the power and irony of the scene late in the film where the totally acculturated captive teen actually turns out to be the son of the spacey old woman who has steadfastedly claimed he was, indeed, her boy . . . following with the tragic fate of both characters. In a film that falls dramatically short in many ways, that scene has an undeniable wallop.
