I have never sold any CDs through eBay yet and so -- obviously -- never bought any CDs with the intent to sell them via eBay.
However, for various reasons I happen to have accumulated doubles of some of my CDs. Obviously, the surplus copies are just collecting dust in some dark shelf. I usually prefer to trade them with collectors for something else. (As a general rule of thumb: something rare for something rare, something common for something common.) But some day (in the not too far future) I have to get rid of some of this stuff, so I might just sell it at eBay. (These days I am actually throwing out a lot of "old stuff", mostly clothes I will never wear any more, or furniture I just don't need any more.)
Some of the CDs I have doubled up are not rare (like Horner's Braveheart or McNeely's recording of Vertigo), other CDs actually are (there is a surplus The Wind And The Lion there, for example), and all of them should be out there in somebody else's shelf, because I only need one copy of each.
