A little anecdote regarding "me and David Raksin": Two years ago I was invited to a wedding in the states and we, my family and I went to Boston for this and while I was in Boston I for the first time ever entered the doors to a Barnes & Nobles store and I visited their part of their store that has CD`s and while I was looking through their CD`s I started a conversation with the CD manager and when we talked he understood that I am a soundtrack collector and I understood that he was that too and he told me that he had once been in contact with composer David Raksin and that ladies and gentlemen was the very first time ever that I heard that name so whenever nowadays I hear/read that name I always will think of this guy at Barnes & Nobles, so this is my "relation" with David Raksin.
