I hope the Pat Matheny score makes it...he's quite the talented guitarist, and I imagine this score has some guitar in it....of course having never heard it, I could be way off. |

Since "The Mission" and "Go To The Head Of The Class" were hour-long episodes they're the equivalent of four regular scores for the show, so assuming twelve scores again on Anthology 3 that leaves eight spots to be filled. I'm guessing the following: FAMILY DOG (Danny Elfman and Steve Bartek) MIRROR, MIRROR (Michael Kamen) THE PUMPKIN COMPETITION (John Addison) SECRET CINEMA (Billy Goldenberg) MR. MAGIC (Bruce Broughton) THE WEDDING RING (Craig Safan) ETERNAL MIND (Miles Goodman) LIFE ON DEATH ROW (Fred Steiner) but I'm only guessing and I'll probably be wrong. (It's just too bad there won't be a fourth disc with selections from all the remaining scores, just for closure. But then again there are still a few original Star Trek scores that have yet to be represented on album, and even The Man From U.N.C.L.E.'s three two-disc sets had to leave out a few.) |
