Still waiting, and still very much hoping... :cry:

Hard to believe that, as some of the music was used in the 2003 DVD release, they still can't get a soundtrack together!

Good to see that this discussion keeps floating to the top now and again.

If enough folks reflect their passion for this one perhaps the gods will smile and we will hear this treasure in its true glory once and for all.

It still one of my Childhood favourites.

Today, April 5, 2017, it was announced that two Elmer Bernstein scores will be available shortly . Not from Intrada the label that gave us the magnificent box set of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS last year. I thought that this would be an appropriate time to move this thread up the line in the hope that the score to THE AMAZING MR. BLUNDEN would be the next Elmer Bernstein release from Intrada.

Just my biannual post, bumping this thread, hoping that some circumstance may have changed which might result in a soundtrack for BLUNDEN being on the cards.....

No such luck yet, but I remain hopeful. This film is broadcast every Christmas and features among many peoples' favourite childhood films. I can't believe the wonderful music hasn't been released yet.
