I'd say either On Her Majesty's Secret Service or The Living Daylights for favorite Bond score, both as incorporated in the film and as an album. Highlights of both are excellent dramatic scoring, a solid love theme, and exciting action with neat synth integration and signature brass. "Surrender" is probably the Bond song I'm most partial towards. However, I do really like the approach taken with the Chris Cornell song for the 2006 version of Casino Royale. I thought it worked very well in establishing a new Bond with lyrics that are quite meaningful. |

Favourite score: ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE Favourite song: GOLDFINGER Composer to score next Bond film: To be honest, I don't see anybody writing anything to match up to the classic years so I'm really not that bothered. But I'm confident that if Mendes is directing, Newman is scoring. |

Favorite Score - FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE -in which the very first Bond "stingers" are heard (the opening of the track titled 'Stalking'). Favorite Song - THUNDERBALL - it has Tom Jones' great vocal and an intriguing lyric. AND I CAN"T THINK OF ANY CONTEMPORARY COMPOSERS except possibly DAVID ARNOLD - JOHN BARRY NAILED THAT CLASSIC, STINGER-LACED BRASSY STYLE, WHICH IT SEEMS THE CURRENT BOND FILMS HAVE MOVED AWAY FROM |
