They will : Posted on August 23, 2013 by Peter Silva Screen will release Carmine Coppola’s wonderful score to his son Francis’ film The Outsiders on Sep 30th (US Sep 24th). Celebrating the 30th anniversary of this much loved piece of cinema, whose appeal has grown over the decades, this reissue features unreleased tracks including most notably Stevie Wonder’s sad theme, the tender and beguiling, Stay Gold. The release includes a large poster insert with a venerable essay on the film and its music by soundtrack scribe Daniel Schweiger. May be it's the same release as Music Box's CD, which is OOP. |
