Intrada Soundtrack Forum

All these years we miss out on some limited Intrada releases because they are limited to 1000pcs or 2000pcs, etc. We put off buying until our budget settles in weeks or months (sometimes years) and then only to find out it's gone and get a heart attack.

The way you go about it now ie. "available while quantities and interest remains" and then what more.....when the time comes you give us another notice to say the release will end in another 2 or 3 weeks time. It is just fantastic!!

This is just too dreamy for us to have this kind of label. You really have thought this out just to totally suit us.

It is certainly an optimal method. I still buy numerous titles immediately after announcement, but having the option to wait a couple of months for anything is a big help.

Yeah, I still read an occasional post on other message boards from someone who just doesn't get it. I honestly think our business model is the best in the business... certainly the most kind towards you, the customer. And, as Roger mentions, and Jeff and I continue to delight in... our sales have remained consistent with the exception that many titles that otherwise would have sold out quickly, leaving many people out in the cold, have now sold twice as many units before the end of their limited print run. Better for you people, better for us.

And the nature of limited release soundtracks, which we helped invent back in 1985, still plays a nice role. We enjoy waiting for the interest levels to drop, deleting the titles at that point be they exciting titles or not, and then watching whatever we have left sail out the door.

I remember when I was late to the party and missed out on SCORPIO (which I miraculously got in mysterious ways anyway) and INCHON (which I got now in its latest incarnation. .

I agree that it is very customer friendly the way Intrada releases their limited editions and I am very glad to hear it's working out so well.

I must extend my appreciation for the current sale. I understand that it's a one-time thing for obvious reasons and I already have almost all of the selected releases, but it is still very much appreciated for you to give consumers such discounts in these times when there is a ridiculous amount of soundtracks that pique our interest.
