I always had a soft spot for this classic 80's score - I would love to pick this up if it were finally released on CD.

Anybody else???...

I absolutely want this fascinating and highly thematic synth score released. Something tells me that there are many holdups involved, but it would be great to know for sure. I wonder what the wonderful Intrada producers know?

I would love to get this also. I have the soundtrack which is good but there is a lot of score music not on there which is awesome to listen to. This along side True Romance are 2 of my holly grails I want to own. I made a suggestion with True Romance a little while ago. Can`t believe nobody agreed with me. That score is amazing especially at the end. It takes you through a full journey and has a similar emotional loss feeling as the end piece to scarface.

For me it's the big big luxe electronic score ...
2013 is the year of 30th anniversary,it would be great a world premiere (2cd)...

Yes, this year marks the film's 30th anniversary. Unfortunately, that kind of thing generally has little-to-no relevance in this niche market, especially when you consider that Universal Pictures does not own all of the music outright due to the MCA album. Both the songs and little bit of score on the currently available album are plagued by Moroder's typical blatant remixing.

Of course, it would be fantastic if Intrada could get the original score released this year. I'm confident that it won't happen, though.

Anybody pick up the remastered and remixed 2003 CD of SCARFACE - I read that Moroder's remix job on this CD is not so good, completely changing the music in the songs - I sill have my original cassette tape from 1983.

Any comments/opinions on this 2003 CD?
