Post subject: | Flash Gordon (the music to the 1930's Universal serials) |
Douglass, Roger, or anyone else with knowledge on the subject.. The music for the serials was culled from other horror/fantasy films by Universal. Would it be possible to release music that was used in Flash Gordon as a soundtrack, as the music from the other films used is probably owned by Universal? |

Kenneth Alwyn and the Westminster Philharmonic's take on Waxman's score for THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN is a great start as it was the basis for most of the music in FLASH GORDON'S TRIP TO MARS. When I listen to that CD, more often than not, I'm thinking of Flash, Ming, Princess Azura, and the Clay People. |
