I recieved the new "OZ The Great and Powerful" yestereday from Intrada and today was my first chance to crack it open to listen to it and I released I couldn't.
Upon removing the sellophane I instinctfully sensed that something was odd with the CD Box as it felt strangely thin and was bowing in the middle.
Upon closer examination I realised that the box was complete melted/welded together on three sides of the front (door) part of the box.
In my near 30 years of purchasing CD's I have never encountered anything like it.
I tried to pull it open but managed to distroy the box in the process. The Booket, the inner tray artwork and the CD seem to have survived their ordeal but my question is how does something like this happen. How can the box be so melted but the contents to be OK? Any Ideas?
Oh by the way the CD is playing right now and sounds terrific.
