I just watched the film today, and I really enjoyed it. Elfman's score was top-notch! It felt like such a throwback to older compositions; it was so refreshing. Thank you so much again, Disney, for collaborating with Intrada in order to have this CD see the light of day. It's a very fine score. And now, I'm anxiously awaiting the Blu-ray. If I had one little quibble with the film (spoiler free), it was the 'Wicked Witch' make-up. It lost me a little. Other than this, I had a really fun time at the cinema. |

Oh--I wanted to ask you something, Doug. We're you at all present at the recording studio for this score, having been the label selected for distribution? I think that would have be pretty nice to witness the sessions. |

So which track would have the music for the scene where Evanora and Theodora are about to kill beautiful Glinda? I received this soundtrack in the mail today and there's an error in the tracks. Track 13 "The Munchkin Welcome Song" should actually be after Track 17 "Meeting the Troops". |
