I have been a pain on this board when it comes to a proper release of Red October.
So hopefully this year. I wonder if there are any alternate and/or outtakes of some of the tracks.

With all the Poledouris scores being released in the last few months, are there plans to release an extended Hunt For Red October? The original release was very short and didn't have any closing credits. Just curious.... |

A lot of us want a better release of this score, and there is a suggestion thread for it. You know it will be done eventually. Doug did comment a while back stating that he loves the score and would also like a restored album presentation. Until its release is imminent, I imagine that is all the info we'll get from anyone in this mostly secretive world of soundtrack album production. |

A complete and remastered Red October with great sound is at the top of my Poledouris wants list (right next to Les Miserables and The Touch). Yavar |
