UPDATE: December 31, 2012 ELMER BERNSTEIN'S 90th ANNIVERSARY GUEST HOST: Tim Burden Cinematic Sound Radio’s 2012 programming ends with guest host Tim Burden’s superb two-part radio special dedicated to a Hollywood film music legend. April 4th, 2012 marked the 90th anniversary of Elmer Bernstein’s birth and to celebrate that momentous occasion Tim Burden has invited along with him Bernstein’s son, Peter Bernstein and Bernstein’s long time orchestrator and friend, Patrick Russ, to share some of their favorite stories about the Academy Award winning composer, some of which you might have never heard before.
