I’ve never seen this movie or even heard the score before.
But as soon as that laser hit the lens, WOW It was that Jerry sound that I love so much.
Doug, great call on releasing this at the end of last year, what a way to round off 2012.
And to start 2013 with Congo only makes the rest of the year very promising.
By the way I’m loving the Hoosiers insert pic, man you were sporting some serious side burns back in the day :wink:

I'm currently on holiday in Japan and picked up the new Hoosiers from Tower Records in Shinjuku (best selection of OSTs I've ever seen, unimaginable on my home turf in Australia) Wonderful release of one of the best Goldsmith scores. Sound quality is very impressive and the extra tracks over the old release are more than welcome. Nice work as usual

I finally picked up Hoosiers and after listening to it a couple times, I still wonder how could this NOT win the Oscar? If anything, it should have (alongside Morricone's The Mission)! Doug, everyone involved in the making of this terrific release, thank you all so much for this! ^^
