| Post subject: | La-La-Land Die Hard vs Varese Sarabande Version. |
I missed the Varese Sarabande version years ago because i was`nt such a big collector but have tried to pick it up in recent years but have found it very rare and expensive. Any one know if it is worth the purchase if you already have the La-La Land copy? I would have thought not! |

Aside from some collector peculiarities, there is no reason to buy the Varese edition if you already have the 2-disc La-La Land release. |

When the Varese was released... I bought it very fast. It's running time was pretty lengthy for the time of it coming out. However, the LLLR... that is the way to go. It completely fleshes out the score and, as usual with LLLR, the packaging is done with their typical flourish. I am always grateful for Varese releases. They kind of started all of this. Their recent release of the 2 cd set for DIE HARDER is absolutely fantastic. Hopefully, it will change the way the go back and do previous titles. |
