We all know composers like -especially - Horner, Williams, Goldsmith, etc., have, in their scores, composed very long pieces for certain sequences. I got to thinking... I can't recall a single piece by John Barry that is more than 5 minutes long, though as I type this, I seem to recall that there was a very long piece on the Dances With Wolves soundtrack, but maybe not. I'm not sure if the guitar piece he composed for Deadfall would count, even though it DOES serve as BOTH underscore AND source music, if memory serves me correctly. Any help would be appreciated.
