I love this score. It works so well in the film. I don't see an enormous amount of discussion about it. Any chance that Intrada may someday release this officially--I know they once did a promotional release? Chris Young always amazes me with how well he can jump genres, and while many composers choose to do so, I don't think many--perhaps a handful--can do so successfully. I've always admired Chris for his dramatic efforts, for instance. He really shines in that area (Murder in the First and Flowers in the Attic being two of my all-time favorites; the latter needing to be reissued--prices are ridiculous for that title). I know many like his horror scores, and they're great-- Tales from the Hood being one of them--but isn't it amazing how well he creates music for all varieties of film? ![]() |

Yes, this is one of Christopher Young's scores to get a promo release from Intrada. I guess this is among his least talked about efforts, but that in no way makes it any less impressive. Young's scores for Urban Legend, Tales from the Hood and Hush are three of the Intrada promos that I would most like to see get made into commercial products. |

Actually HUSH should be coming, right? ![]() Don't forget MURDER AT 1600. Great score too. Or Sweet November. |
