I was very encouraged to see the recent releases of Hatari! & The War of the Worlds/When Worlds Collide from the Paramount vaults. Could there be the possibilty of the release of Those Daring Young Men In Their Jaunty Jalopies [or Monte Carlo Or Bust, as those of us in the UK know it]. I wouldn't care what name it came out under. It's the music that counts after all! Intrada did a fantastic job with Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines (2CD) & Sir Gawain and the Green Knight (2CD). Would it be to much to wish for a similar release like The Deep (2CD) or The [First] Great Train Robbery (2CD) with the film recordings and the LP programme spread over 2 or more discs. |

Then hit whatever vault necessary, or perhaps dingy closet in some undisclosed location, to acquire Goodwin's score for The Executioner. And then hit the Disney vaults for One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing, as well as The Spaceman and King Arthur (aka, Unidentified Flying Oddball, A Spaceman in King Arthur's Court, or maybe some wacky mishmash of those titles). |

Yes, I'd definitely buy Goodwin's The Executioner and also Francis Lai's House Of Cards, another good George Peppard 60s Spy thriller that I haven't seen (or heard) for many, many years! ![]() |
