Doug, some years back when you reissued Islands in the Stream in the Excalibur line, you made a point of saying that Rio Conchos was going to follow it at some point with a remastered reissue, reinstating the short End Credits cue which Jerry recorded but didn't want put on the album in the end. Is that still coming? Are you waiting to sell through stock on the RVF version first (funny that this is the only RVF title still around)? If so I'm trying to help out -- I've ordered three copies for Joel's Classical Shop in the past couple months!

I also had what I thought was a really good idea in the thread linked to above: the FSM Rio Conchos is now long out of print. I don't know if LaLaLand has already called dibs on many of those Goldsmith Fox westerns (their new Stagecoach looks and sounds beautiful), but if they haven't yet for Rio Conchos, perhaps you could do a two disc set featuring both the famous Intrada LSO re-recording AND the original film recording, both conducted by Goldsmith. It would seem to make sense because this is a case where people really need to own both, and that way you wouldn't be competing against someone else's reissue of the original tracks at any point. It'd make a great new MAF issue.
