Apropos of nothing at all, except that I am listening to it right now, I ask the forum this: Has there ever been a more perfectly beautiful Jerry Goldsmith main title theme than this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXYcfquC-58 In a lifetime of truly perfect melodies, this might be his best. I can think of a LOT more beautiful main themes, but that last minute and a half or so of "The Kite" is some of THE MOST LIFE-AFFIRMING music Goldsmith EVER wrote! |

The only other thing that comes to mind... the gorgeous central theme to Psycho II. I really hope that Raggedy Man get's a re-release. I missed out and could just kick myself. |
