First I'd like to thank all of you for getting this out to me so fast, I really don't think I could've waited much more. What I would call an Historically Important release. Well done, right down to the notes and package design. Everyone deserves to take a bow. Love it, love it, love it.

Let me add my own "love it, love it, love it!" It's been hardly two weeks since you gifted us with THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE, and now we have one of my oldest grails to relish. The mono sources are so clean and dynamic, I hardly miss the stereo. To hear all the sophisticated Mancini suspense cues at long last in the clear is a real treat.

Thanks to Doug and all the hamsters for this and HATARI. You're making this a wonderful summer and we're not even in the shank of it.

Seconded. What a magnificent time to be a collector of this kind of music.

Agree with all the raves. Mancini has 2 scores that are personal all-time favorites: Charade and Breakfast at Tiffany's. In fact, I was just watching Charade on blu ray a few weeks ago and thinking I'd love to get the soundtrack. This is perfectly timed.

I'm going to make a bold claim… Mancini wrote the most consistently entertaining main titles.
