Include Wynton Marsalias' rejected score, and maybe. |

Oh this is one of my favorites by Isham. There's barely 20 minutes of it as with all of Sidney Lumet's films usually have with his film scores. I actually did see a version of the film with the original ending in tact which was much better in my IMHO than the final cut. It actually featured Marsalis' score which for that finale was just brilliant it's pure jazz like Isham's. I agree with tharpdevenport that it would be logical to pair both scores up due to their brevity. Granted we don't know how much longer the original version of the film is so we don't know how much more Marsalis more music he wrote for the film. I hope both scores come out one day which it would do a comparison on both scores. |
