As a Disney/Marvel Music/Hollywood Records property, can we assume that, just like The Avengers, Intrada is gonna release the physical edition of this upcoming score from James Horner ? Considering that Intrada love James Horner's music and has released many of his glorious scores in the past, it appears logical that they would. I'm really impatient about this score. I'm pretty sure, this is gonna be a spectacular and emotionnaly intense James Horner score ! |

Hmmm... good point... And, regardless of what label is releasing it... this score is an instant purchase. James Horner. Superhero. Oh yeah. *And, can some company please release Christopher Young's Spiderman 3? I know of the issues, but that was a great score... |

With James Horner scoring a Spider-Man film and Thomas Newman scoring a Bond film, it is definitely going to be an interesting year. |

James Horner has never disappointed me in a BIG franchise like this. We all asked ourselves what he was going to do with Star Trek, Alien, The Rocketeer, Casper, Zorro, Karate Kid,... And he always came up with something extraordinary ! |

I really like what I've heard thus far. There are some whimsical elements entirely befit for this type of film, as well as the makings of excellent thematic material. The clip below (that I first noticed on the FSM forum) demonstrates a strong central theme. |
