I can't afford all this!

Definitely interested in checking out these three discs from LaLa and Kritzerland. Rosemary's Baby is the score that first tweeked my interest in film music. My father bought about 10 sealed copies of the Dot LP for 10 cents each back in the day from some discount store bin and gave everyone in the family a copy for Christmas. We were all trippin' on the weird sounds of Komeda that holiday season and there was no turning back.

First time in a while three new score recordings have grabbed my interest all at once.

All extremely pleasant surprises, especially Lady in a Cage. Paul Glass' scores contain music that can really get your brain in gear. I look forward to a release of his works for Night Gallery.

And the Lullaby from Rosemary's Baby might be the perfect theme for LaLa Land.

Well, I ordered Mommie and Rosemary from LaLa. Was going to wait and order through Intrada, after reading that people had recieved their shipping confirmation in a matter of minutes I bit the bullet and laid the money down.

These are both great. The lady will have to remain in the cage for a while though.

Nice! I'm going to wait a bit for those two.

I am very curious as to what the B-Side single of the Rosemary's Baby lullaby sounds like.

The musician credits on Rosemary's Baby score is amazing. I recognize many from various jazz recordings over the years including Frank Rosolino, who in the late 70's flipped out, went crazy and shot his two young sons and then killed himself... Anyway, great west coast studio musicians. Those guys must have worked and performed under a boat load of pressure back in those days.

I pulled this scan from the internet. I have a pristine copy of this LP. From 1961, arranged and conducted by Neal Hefti
