I was listening to the complete STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT the other day,
and thinking what a good job of the additional music that Joel had done.

I had heard he had been battling Cancer since last year and sad news could follow this year. Our thoughts are with the Goldsmith family on this terribly sad day. Another fine artist taken from us. |

I had read this late last night over on FSM... Needless to say I was completely shocked at this awful news. And depressed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Goldsmith family. Over the years I have kept up with all of the Joel Goldsmith releases that have come out. I loved his music. Father and Son are together again. Their music is with us forever. What awful news... Joel Goldsmith made some mighty fine music in his life and alot of it is today unreleased... It saddens me that a much too young person is taken from us but his music will live on as a legacy. I will miss him R.I.P |

Listening to Joels Man´s Best Friend and must say it is an awsome score. Great action cues and it is very much in the same league that his music for Watchers is...Both needs to be released to the world... |
