I know this is a totally whacky idea but whacky coming from me is normal. Wouldn't it be cool if at the end of 2012 the good folks at Intrada threw a party for customers, forum members, etc? We could all meet up and talk scores, movies, life or whatever. Over the years as I've been a part of this cool, niche group I've really enjoyed all of the amazing information that people have shared about meeting their favorite composers or music, film history trivia and generally sharing what we love: film music. I'm sure the logistics for some people would be impossible but maybe U.S. or even West Coast customers would be able to attend. Heck, maybe a couple of composers that work with Intrada could show up to talk about music, sign CD's or whatever. Thoughts anyone? |

I don`t know about that since there are members on this board from around the world. Take me for example I am from Sweden (as you all know). If you gonna have a party then we who can`t participate will be very jealous. However with that said you never know if someone from another country may decide to fly over to the states to attend that event. I say this because I decided this year to attend Peter "DMD" Hackman`s "Fans of Film Music 3". Yes I`ll be there so if anyone on this board is coming to that event we will probably meet. |

I'd have to take the bus to get to the Intrada office, and transfer. And the second bus only runs once every 45 minutes. ![]() |

Actually it is a nice idea, although a bit more work for Intrada than one might expect, partly because it involves them having to take the planning work on along with their regular duties. But who knows? Maybe they're "rolling in it" and can hire an event planner. |

Ooooo, I like the sound of this, since Intrada is only 90mins. away as opposed to the 6hrs. of LA! I'll pick you up on the way David, Berkeley is on my way! ![]() |

I live in L.A. but I would totally make the trip to go... and then cruise over to San Fran for some good seafood and sourdough bread. ![]() |

Intrada needs to spend 24/7 locating the masters to Horner's score for Volunteers. There's no time to party until that happens. ![]() |
