Hi all... Im very interested in Star Trek...and im keen to collect all the CD's. I understand that there are several labels involved in releasing the movie soundtracks. I was wondering whether some of you might be able to help me identify all currently available releases. On the Intrada Store I see the following: Star Trek: The Next Generation Star Trek: First Contact Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home Star Trek III: The Search for Spock Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Have I missed any? If so, do you know where I can buy them? Many thanks, Jago |

"Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" (SOLD OUT; LLLR) I assume you first entry is the 4CD LLLR TNG. If so, then you're missing FSM's Ron Jones TNG box. And if you want to count JJTrek, the Varese "complete" (loosely used) release. That's all the limited editions at the moment. |

If you don't already have it, then you should also get the Sony Records "20th Anniversary" release of Goldsmith's "Star Trek: The Motion Picture". While it is possible that an expanded release might be in the works at one of the labels (although the rights could be very difficult on this one), the existing release is still a very good presentation of the score and the score itself is certainly a "must own". Also, I believe the GNP Crescendo releases of "Star Trek: Generations" and "Star Trek: Insurrection" and the Varese Sarabande release of "Star Trek: Nemesis" are all still in print, although I wouldn't be at all surprised if expansions are in the works for all of those. -Jeff |
