Mine arrived today too! I already loved your previous release of the score and wasn't really sure how you could top it with better sound quality but I had to have it again being the die hard fan that I am. I must say this release blows the previous one into the far reaches of space. It seems to play a lot louder and punchier! every minute detail of subtle menace and rip roaring bombast of Silvestri's music is crystal clear and bleeds beautifully from my Yamaha 5.1 sound system. I thank you Intrada, from across the pond and from the bottom of my heart for the definitive presentation of my holiest of grails! |

Great job on the new Predator, loving it - did Shuken/Hayes REALLY orchestrate here? Amazing! And to see all the "old timers" who played on it - is this an accurate orchestra list!?!?!? Keep it up boys, you rule! |

I got a better question! If it does say Shuken/Hayes for orchestrator, and it clearly was NOT meant to, does that mean you've [Doug] confused the linear notes with soon-to-come release? ![]() Like, say, an Elmer Bernstein? We caught you. Admit it. |

The updated PREDATOR sounds amazing. I have played it several times and seem to be re-living my youth... do not laugh. PREDATOR... blasting out of my stereo speakers. Ahhhhh. Nuances that I did not hear on the previous incarnations. Intrada has really outdone themselves on this awesome release. Thanks so much Doug, Roger and all those little hamsters. ![]() A few days ago I was watching the movie again. Yes, it really does stand up for something that is 25 years old this year. EEK. After I finished watching it... on went the cd again to hear Alan Silvestri's spectacular score. My phone rang and it was one of my Uncle's. He lives in San Diego. In 1987 he was here, in Maryland on business, and took my Mom and I to see the movie. We all thought it was great. And, all of us were amazed by it's score. Anyhow, I told him I just watched it. He laughed and commented on the movie and mentioned the music. I informed him about the newest release and how awesome it sounds. He told me "You better get a copy ordered for your Uncle" (laughing like the Predator did at the end of the movie... my Uncle is a lunatic). Okay... enough of stories that make me feel old. Thanks again. ![]() |
