Hi Roger..... Apparently, you aren't all that fond of Herrmann's score for Obsession, which is fine(Can't fault a guy for that.). I was wondering, though, would your not liking the score keep you from releasing it? |

I think this all stemmed from a comment Roger made on the FSM board way back in 2003 in which he expressed satisfaction with the album presentation and that there wasn't a lot he would want to add to it. I suppose some people read too much into that. |

I'll have to 'fess up to being somebody who has occasionally repeated the "Roger does not care for OBSESSION" statement. When I have mentioned that "quote," I have usually added that I am repeating hearsay. In this case, I'm glad to see Roger's answer to the question, and I for one will never again repeat that old quote. However, hearing that Roger may actually like the score does not lessen my surprise that the complete version has still not been released on CD. I'm also surprised that the re-recording of JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS is the only Intrada release of a Herrmann score, unless I'm unaware of something else.
