Since Holdridge's IN SEARCH OF PEACE is one of my favourite Intrada releases I'll definately pick this up with my next Intrada order.

I love what I hear. It will be one of few occasions where I'll get the score without having first seen the material it's written for, and it is not because of Sir Churchill's confident, authoritative gaze on the cover that seems to be telling me to buy. Or is it? |

I love Lee Holdridge and am very pleased to see more of his documentary scores being released. This is essentially a blind buy for me because I'm not familiar with this particular score, but I've heard people's reactions to the sound samples, so I know that this is going to be good. I want this to be fresh when I hear it. |

I have just listened to the sound samples...and all I can say is "Wow...I'm impressed". I already placed my order for Toy Story, but I think I will have to pick this one up as well... |

Yeah, it seems Holdridge was in his element scoring these or something. Perhaps he just had a lot of freedom? I've been pretty picky lately about what I buy, but I ordered this one right away. |

Got this today, and while it's a very solid score with some beautiful moments (alas, not quite as good as hoped, but still very much a keeper), there seems to be a timing mistake on the packaging -- it's 67+ minutes, not 77+ (though I'm guessing this error was noticed as the item page now shows the correct time....though still says '77 minutes' in the description). That's the worst thing about the disc, though

Currently listening to this terrific score now. As usual, Intrada has done an awesome job on this release. Mr. Holdridge turns in another first-rate score.
