I'm in town with a friend to see San Francisco - so it seemed appropriate to drop by a nearby soundtrack label and pick up Star Trek IV! After getting lost in downtown Oakland (and other areas) and being more than a little razzled, we finally arrived... Of course, we had the good sense to drop by on a day where the office would be closed. You can bet I'll be back tomorrow!  Thanks to the bookkeeper for putting up with myself and my friend, who probably came across like lunatics.

That's terrific! And oh, how I miss CALI! Blow that whole state a kiss for me! I've never been to Intrada, though I have wanted to for YEEEEEARS! Someday soon, I know I will. Until then... Great news from you, and thanks for the pic!

My friend thought the place was more an apartment building than a store, since the outside's just a door with a sign.

That's cool. I'm in a way glad that I do not live near Intrada, because I would probably visit and impulse buy much too often. |

Wow, fascinating - the sign, there. Hopefully Intrada let's you snap some shots indoors when you return? I've always wanted to see their new location, but the team is always so busy. |

Look how conviniently situated they are, too. So, when they run out of money to release CD's, there's a mortgage company next door. And when they go broke and can't pay the bills, there's an atorney close by, too. All they need now is a physological counselor to move in. |

I once visited Varese Sarabande when they were located in a tiny studio. Sunny day, door was wide open and Chris Kuchler was laying out the cover design for Mad Max LP. I remember feeling giddy as hell about the experience. Preordered a bunch of LPs. Still have the "paid in full" reciept given me that day. |

I did end up going back the next day... I snapped a couple pics (couldn't help it), would it be ok with Doug and Roger if I shared them? Didn't see anything incriminating (aside from the Star Wars Definitive Collection mockup  ), but might as well get permission.
