A friend and I were discussing this last night - if it's not too late in Conan's production, perhaps Intrada could look into including these as bonus tracks on Barbarian or Destroyer? Nintendo has used their own rendition(s) of Riders of Doom in trailers/ads for their Legend of Zelda games, ever since Ocarina of Time was released in 1998. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kggOvvbLVO0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYfZ_aLsW90 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RieKG7pw6g8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orgwe5wokNo The major downside of this being, you'd have to talk with Nintendo - one of the largest corporations of the world alongside Disney, and you guys are extremely lucky to be able to work with Disney as it is. Time and resources would also be a major factor here, and would likely delay Barbarian/Destroyer's release even further. Even so, I'd love to have Nintendo's version of Riders of Doom available on CD - it's my favorite track from the Conan series by far, and I play Riders of Doom on my laptop here every single day (I kid you not). |
