I noticed in the product page that James Horner supervised this project. If it is not mentioned in the liner notes, is it possible for anyone at Intrada to disclose to us here exactly how Horner was involved with the production of this CD? This for some reason has me interested. |

At last ! I was introduced to WOLFEN's score at the begining of the 90's. I was striken by the incredible impact of the music on me. A really haunting score. Chilling but beautiful music. Thank you Intrada, thank you Mr Horner, thank you WB. ! |

Great work guys. I did'nt think we were ever going to see a release of the great score. Love the artwork aswell much better than just the Wolfen legend against a black background like the UK cinema Quad poster.Cover is the same as the US one sheet you can get from ebay from time to time. I really love this movie its so underated and overlooked i watch it atleast once a year, the steadi-cam work is better than what Garret Brown did a year before in the shining swooping over the ruins of a war torn looking brooklyn. Carl fullerton who did all the make up fx's got his job on Friday the 13th part II from bring one of the severed heads in to his audition he had made for Wolfen. Ordered. |

Wow, Warner Bros. is notorious for making changes to music for their TV-DVDs, and even canceling entire series' releases on DVD because of music licensing costs. As a fan of the series "Everwood", it was a long five-year wait just to get the second season out on DVD because they wanted to change the songs in the episodes, and then did so for seasons 3 and 4. By then so much time had passed no one would've remembered what songs were used originally when broadcast anyway. I know I didn't. I've never known a case of this affecting a movie until now. Very interesting. |

All the studios have done this at some point or another. Wolfen was Warner Brothers, Wayne's World was Paramount, Universal did it all the time (including Jaws). Song rights can get really messy. Part of the reason why Heavy Metal wasn't available on home video for years was because of all of the music licensing. |
