I just wanted to bring to your attention a new music video starring Intrada's own Jeff Johnson. If you have never met him you can't miss him now. He's got a great sense of humor and the lyrics reflect it! (As film score fan's you won't need me to tell you to listen for the Jerry Goldsmith and John Williams shout-outs.): The video is explicit so you may not want to have it up to loud when you first play it. For those of you living in the San Francisco Bay Area, you'll recognize a few locations and the final scene is filmed just outside the front door of the Intrada office... That is AWESOME. Love it. Also great to know there are big fans of swearing in the Intrada office, and you're not one of those more polite areas of the US, which I fear and mistrust, because, well, I swear A LOT. |

I swear sparringly, at appropriate instances, usually for humorous effect on stupid jokes that would otherwise fall flat. Not anti swearing per se, but I just don't find a need for it in regular daily basis. But do I swear? Hell yeah. |

For those of you who don't get the reference, it's a parody of this video right here: And it also references another Lonely Island song: The lyrics also reference one of my favorite podcasts - Poker Road Radio!!! I wish they were still making new episodes!!! Jeff if you are reading this, you should check out the Huff and Stapes podcast, hosted by two former Poker Road hosts - Scott Huff and Joe Stapleton (who are also the current commentators of The Big Game). Their older episodes are under "Two Jacks In The Hole" which I think is still on iTunes Again, great work! |

Well, thanks everyone for the nice feedback! Very much appreciated. Jay, I do miss Poker Road Radio a lot. For some reason though I never got into Huff and Stapes' other podcasts like Two Jacks In The Hole. But I've never checked out their newest show, so maybe I should give it a try. I got to see a couple of Poker Road episodes get recorded live when I was in Vegas watching some WSOP events. Nice! I've been listening to them since The Circuit days as well! Those initial episodes with Huff and Matusow were a bit tough but then once Sebok and Gavin Smith took over it became great! I also love the later additions of Court and Devo. I really hope they find a way to come back on the air! If you didn't like Two Jacks in the Hole you probably won't like Huff and Stapes since its basically the same thing... however, they have improved a lot since their original episodes. Their newsgirl Jackie Bray is really funny and some of their recurring guests - namely Asterios Kokkinos and Kevin Klein are just ridiculously funny. |
