I had no clue this was coming out. I came across this CD over at SAE and pre-ordered it right away. After that I shot right over here to put up the info, but you beat me to it. 1000 copies to go around for this Silvestri treat might not be enough. This will be my first Music Box release I hope they do a good job with their discs. Anybody order from them before? |

I missed this thread earlier. Overboard is a must for anyone who really enjoys listening to Silvestri at his best. |

Yes! This was one of my grails, no doubt from my signature here on Intrada! I really respect the broad-shouldered strut Silvestri employed in his music to this film - of which I really enjoy, as well. And even outside of the confident main title, I absolutely relish in the love theme underlining pivotal scenes near the end of the film, and the finale - it's both stunning and evocative with its string sequencing. Looking forward to this CD! |

Is the rest of the score different than the Main Title, because I found that aweful and couldn't finish it, and decided against sampling the rest. |

Yea this announcement came as a pleasent surprise. Haven't seen this movie in ages but I remember it (as well as the score) being quite enjoyable. Great release. |

I've received the CD and the music is splendid ! 80's little pop tunes, tender love theme (sometimes even dramatic), energic comedic action, all with the Silvestri signature on it... This is really a wonderful little gem from Silvestri that can be easily played for simple pleasure. Music Box has included several alternate cues in the album's flow that play really nicely. Intrada wouldn't have done any better ! |
