Dig through garage sale leftovers! That's where I found my cd of DRACULA, in perfect condition, and it was free. I just had to look like a general nerd, going through bags left at the curb. Which was not a problem, since I'm already a soundtrack nerd!

This has probably been said before, but I consider this one of the holiest of remaining grails. The sound quality on the Varese/MCA CD is pretty muddy, and there is a ton of music in the film that didn't make it onto JW's LP presentation. I would dearly love a C&C, paired with the remastered LP tracks. The same goes for Jaws 2 from the same era and label(s), although the sound quality isn't nearly as bad as the DRACULA mix. |

I'd be very surprised if this is not on it's way from someone (hopefully Intrada), as La La Land is releasing an expanded 1941. Same studio, same year, same composer. And it would be a very good seller. |

Everytime I look at a full moon, "Meeting in the Cave" always pops in my head. To me, that is Luna's theme. Here's a great interview about the score... |
